You hear that a lot in the film industry and in advertising. It's the mistaken idea that you can save a troubled project with beautiful lighting, soaring music and exciting special effects. You know, smoke and mirrors.
But if you don't have a good story, you have no foundation.
When Related Group and Cousins Properties were creating a promotional video with a limited budget, they provided a collection of beautiful assets. But no story.
They asked me to connect the dots. Find the narrative.
That's my specialty: creating something out of nothing, getting ideas down on paper. Forging a script so the team can be on the same page before burning through its tight budget while trying to improvise a story after the fact.
